In the last few years we have seen an increase of websites and apps that offer some type of cashback on purchases, and in my opinion many of them are valid even if at the same time many of them are also not appropriate for everyone. One of the main complaints I heard by the people using websites and apps that gives cashback in exchange of a copy of your purchases receipts, is that often they have cashback offers for products (or stores) that they don’t really purchase. This is what happened to me too and I eventually stopped using and deleting many of the apps of this kind. However the one I want to talk to you about today, is one of those I still use and I feel like anyone can use no matter what products they purchases or which stores they shop at (beside small boutiques and small local businesses), because Fetch Rewards gives you a minimum amount of points for your receipt no matter what.
If you don’t use Fetch Rewards already, CLICK HERE to download the app and use “T6VUW” as referral code to receive $2 when you scan your first receipt!
Another incredible perk of Fetch Rewards is that you wont have to waste time navigating through their cashback offers, trying to match them to whatever you purchased: the app will automatically do it for you! And you can always review what the app found and edit it in case you believe an offer wasn’t matched correctly. Pretty often they also gives bonus points, they are usually hundreds or thousands, and all you have to do is submit a receipt during the time of the promo.
Like with other similar apps or websites, purchasing certain brands and products will give you more points than the minimum: they state that the minimum you get is 5 points per receipt, but I always get at least 25 points. 1000 points correspond to $1 and you can redeem you points in the app for gift cards and more: from Amazon and Walmart to Magazines subscriptions, sweepstakes and charity donations.
Another great purpose of this app, is to keep track of your expenses and purchases. Using the tab “Activity” in the app, you will be able to see how much you spent in the last year, month, week; you can go back to all of your receipts without keeping tons of papers around, and use that tool to help you make better purchases in the future and/or create a budget plan for groceries and your other purchases. This is by far the cashback app that I love the most, and that I still use after years, without fear of losing points or getting annoyed by the lack of ways to get rewarded. There are other apps and websites that are decent, but this is definitely the one that anyone can use to get cashback, no matter where they shop or what they buy. I also feel like the brands and products they give you extra points for, are better than the brands offered elsewhere. It takes only few seconds to snap a picture of your receipt and a the end of the year you might have enough points saved to get gift cards for Christmas for your loved ones or for yourself!
