If you were born and raised in Italy, chances are that you have been raised drinking a lot of “succhi di frutta” when you were younger. And if you then had to move to the United States, chances are that you were really disappointed to find out that american juice taste nothing like the “succhi di frutta” found in Italy.
In the recent years, few brands offering “fruit nectar” have been available to purchase online and also in certain supermarkets (usually in the bio/organic or foreign products section) and stores like Big Lots, Burlington, TJ Maxx, Ross, Homegoods and Marshall’s. When purchased online or in supermarkets, the prices usually are about $6-12 per bottle, while in discount stores is possible to find them even for $1.99 per bottle! Of course isn’t one of those products you always find in a discount store, as their products often change, so if you are desperate and want to buy it online, you can purchase in bulk to save on the cost for bottle.

Last week I was lucky to find few bottles of peach and pear nectar at Burlington and today I gave some to Chloe in her Cupkin cup, which has been our favorite cup in the house for the last few months! I’ve been wanting to write an article about it for a while, because I know as a mother how hard it is sometimes to find that product that work for us and our kids, and I think this is one of those that I want to share. Unfortunately for us, the product is high demand so even if they do offer it in many colors and multiple sizes, is not always easy to find them in stock, but I’ll post on my social when I’ll see new colors in stock, so keep following me on Instagram and join our Facebook group.
What I mainly love about these cups is that they will last and be used for a very long time. They are made of stainless steal, really easy to clean and keep the drinks warm or cold. The lids are leak proof: for real! They have a center opening where you can put the straw, and a side one if you prefer to drink from there. Both of them can be opened and closed, and we had no issues with leaking. You can purchase the lid or the silicone straw separately if you need in the future a new one, but of course one set comes with your cup when you purchase it.
My daughters use their Cupkin every morning to drink their warm chocolate milk (milk + Nesquik) for breakfast, but we also used them for juice, iced drinks and smoothies. They are pretty easy to clean, I suggest to use a brush and wash right after use the plastic lid and the silicone straw, as it can be annoying to clean when the dirt on it is dry.
